Cantonese Easter Egg Hunt Activity Sheet

Easter snuck up on me this year- it’s so early! The weather still has a hint of frost and my spring bulbs in the garden have yet to bloom. Spring is coming though and I’m looking forward to spending the Bank Holiday weekend with my family.

If you need ten minutes to yourself this long weekend, here’s a quick printable you keep your little ones occupied.

Colouring Activities and Printables

For this activity, we have the classic Easter egg hunt. How many Easter eggs can you find? This is a good opportunity for your littlies to practice counting in Cantonese.

Version #1 – Black and White

This version is a colouring page as well as an Easter egg hunt to keep your children busy for longer! Especially because it’s harder to spot the eggs in black and white.

Version #2 – Colour

This version will be more suitable for younger children as the colours make the eggs easier to spot.

If you or your little ones aren’t sure if you found all the eggs, then click here to view the solution. Hint: The number of eggs would be called “goodbye teens” in a bingo game.

If you enjoyed this activity sheet and would like some more, here are 3 more Easter-themed activities for you to print. Please send me photos of your little ones’ colouring to mamabearcantonese@gmail.com as I would love to see their work. Happy Easter!
