Summer was always my favourite season growing up but the more I reflect on Autumn, the closer it gets to becoming my favourite time of year. The weather is pleasant and not too hot, your wardrobe is cosy and comfy, Halloween will soon be here, and nature walks are a thing of beauty.

To celebrate my newfound appreciation of Autumn, I bring you two activities to encourage you and your little ones to get out in nature and be present with the season.
Autumn Activities and Printables

Printable #1 – Scavenger Hunt
Go for a nature walk and see what you can see! Whilst traditional scavenger hunts involve you bringing home what you ‘hunt’, this activity can easily be adapted to a photo scavenger hunt (where you take photos of your finds) or you can simply tick off your finds as you go.
Printable #2 – Wordsearch
If the weather isn’t looking the best, you can still enjoy what Autumn has to offer from the comfort of your own home with this wordsearch. Try to find these Autumn words in jyutping (without the tones to keep it simple!)

I hope you enjoyed my printables. If you wanted to share your nature photos with me, drop me a message on instagram or email mamabearcantonese@gmail.com. it always makes my day when I hear from you!
